Laura G. Hong, MD., Ph.D., completed her medical training and received her MD from China Medical University and continued her PhD study in Pharmacology in the Laboratory of Professor Jean Michel Scherrmann, INSERM, Faculty of Pharmacia, University of Rene Descartes (Paris-V), Paris, France. Her research was focused on the studies of pharmacokinetics, ADME/T and delivery of antibody drugs. Immediately after her PhD study, she started her post-doctoral fellowship training in the Department of Cancer Biology and of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Currently, Laura is a Senior Research Scientist in MRL, Merck & Co., Inc. She supports preclinical and clinical PK/PD, TK studies of therapeutic proteins, peptide and monoclonal antibody drugs in the therapeutic area of cancer, AD and cardiovascular disease. Laura has been contributed in the community service as the Principal of GuangHua Chinese School for more than four years.
